I kinda wish I’d given up something for lent….
…unfortunately religion is an embarrassing joke, used as a readymade moral compas to those who apparently haven’t been given the same evolutionary traits as the rest of us. And of course the idea of giving up something you love for an extended period of time is based on the idea that you have to suffer to achieve the ultimate goal…. It’s kind of like when gangs ask you to kill someone just to prove your loyalty.
